How do you check if you mobile number is being diverted?Well there is are useful USSD code you can use.
- Dial *#61# to request status of call diversion on your number when you are not responding.
- Dial *#67# to request status of call diversion on your number when your line is busy.
- Dial *#62# to request status of call diversion on your number when your handset is turned off or has not coverage.
- Dial *#004# to request status of call diversion on all of the above.
- ...and if you find you are suddenly not receiving calls or messages Dial *#21# to request status for call diversion.
This should let you know what diverting is set up. if it is being "forwarded" to any funny numbers you don't know then you should disable that.
What is ## 002 code used for?
In theory, “##002#” disables all call diversion on the phone. I have no need for any call diverts so I use this often just as a security measure.
You could always just use these codes to set up your own diverts to your landline or to your other phone if you are worried about missing a call.
